A little about us
Since 1974, Chuck Franklin Glass Studio has produced stained glass artwork in Portland, Oregon. Work ranges from traditional to contemporary, and from colorful to clear with various textures. Beginning with Jake's Famous Crawfish in 1975, work evolved and can be found in McCormick & Schmick's Seafood restaurants nationally.
It can also be found in a wide variety of residences, churches, businesses, and casinos. In 2002, the studio was featured on a segment of the PBS program Oregon Art Beat. In 2008, Chuck received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Art Glass Association of America.
In early 2015, Chuck and his wife retired and handed the studio over to his grandson, Arther, and his wife, Becky. Together, they have over 35 years of experience in the glass industry. Both Arther and Becky worked for Chuck for many years, creating, assembling and installing a lot of Chuck's creations. Arther and Becky share a great passion for glass and love the work Chuck has done throughout his career. Chuck is still willing to offer his expertise, but most, if not all craftsmanship, installations and client relations are in the willing and able hands of Arther and Becky.
